“SKIHAWKS”, a team of athletes, who train with “Outdoors For All” to compete in the "Washington Special Olympics" .

Following seven weeks of training with "Outdoors For All", the team competes in local and state races with "Washington Special Olympics".

Although this program is aimed primarily at providing a chance to enjoy a success in a sport and learn team pride and sportsmanship, it has many social benefits as well. A lot more goes into being a team member than learning to shoosh down the slopes competitively. The combination of these benefits is what makes our team effort so important.

Because the “SKIHAWKS” are an independent team and not sponsored by a school or parks department, they are not eligible for special program funds. Your help in Donations and Volunteering would be "muchly" appriciated.
